Definition:
RE is a condition in which semen is propelled back from the urethra [tube that carries the semen and sperm through the penis] into the bladder instead of forward and out through the penis. Orgasm – is experienced without external ejaculation, and this is referred to as ‘a dry ejaculate’.
The internal sphincter [valve] of the bladder fails to close, as the prostate, seminal vesicles and testes discharge the semen and sperm into the urethra, and as a result ejaculation occurs into the bladder.
