Transexual [Transgender]
A person who lives with the conviction that he/she is trapped in the body of the wrong sex. They feel compelled to alter their appearance and status to that of the opposite sex and to live that life emotionally, physically and sexually, and be accepted by society as being of their accepted sex.
This requires intensive counselling, crossliving, and then hormone therapy and genital reassignment surgical procedures.
