Sexual dysfunction See: Sexual problems
Sexual dysfunction means that the person has difficulty or problems, or perceives that there is a problem, or is not satisfied with his/her sexual function or activities, and that this causes personal distress.
This may be a problem from the onset of sexual activities [primary or lifelong] or follow a period of normal sexual function [secondary].
The problem may be related to desire, arousal or orgasm and can be caused by illness, pain, a traumatic experience, medication, abuse of drugs, smoking, alcohol , stress- See: Causes of Sexual problems.
