Penile Prosthesis

This is a solid, semirigid or inflatable device that is used to make the penis firm enough for intercourse. Prostheses are surgically implanted into the penis, only once all other methods of treatment for erectile dysfunction have been tried and failed when the erectile dysfunction has an organic or physical cause. It is not a procedure recommended for psychologically caused erectile dysfunction.
