Symptoms in women:
- Abdominal pain and backache
- vaginal discharge
- Fever and feeling of being unwell
- Sex may be painful/uncomfortable
If left untreated: May cause an ectopic pregnancy and / or infertility
Treatment: Antibiotics [prescribed by a doctor].
